Each session has its own page with: Teaching notes and session overview Video content (opens in new window, can be played full-screen) Downloadable activity resources Quick feedback form Students don't get direct portal access - teaching staff facilitate all content delivery. However, students will use their personal devices during certain sessions to access online quizzes and interact with ChatGPT as part of the learning activities.
-
6. Who exactly can access the LaunchPad materials?Portal access is restricted to registered tutors and teaching staff at your institution only. The password must not be shared with: Students (who experience content through teacher-led sessions) External tutors or educational consultants Partner schools or collaborative networks Materials can be shared internally across your campuses/sites, but only with the specific student cohorts agreed in your Participation Agreement. For any external sharing requests, please contact us first.
-
9. What preparation do our staff need before starting?Minimal preparation required: Staff introduction video (~3 minutes) explains the programme approach Online briefing session we'll run 1-2 weeks before you start Session prep: 1-2 minutes per session using the provided teaching notes No AI expertise needed - the programme is designed for any educator to deliver confidently. Teaching notes include guidance on handling student questions, emphasising that valuing questions is often more important than having all the answers.
-
7. Does the programme need to run in a specific sequence?Yes, the programme is designed as 12 sequential sessions (1-12 in order) with cross-references and concepts building between sessions. Timing is flexible - sessions don't need to be weekly and can fit your timetable. However, please let us know in advance if you plan to: Change the session order Omit any sessions Incorporate significant breaks This helps us advise on any content adjustments needed to maintain learning flow.
-
8. Will students need to use their phones or AI tools during sessions?Yes, the programme includes activities where students use personal devices to: Complete online quizzes and interactive exercises Access ChatGPT during specific learning activities (free account setup instructions provided) If device use isn't possible at your institution due to policies or practical constraints, please discuss this during onboarding - we can explore alternative approaches for affected sessions.
-
11. How long do we have access to the materials?Access generally runs until the end of academic year. After this point, you'll need to renew if you wish to continue using the programme. Downloaded materials stored on your internal systems can be retained, but the web portal access will expire. We'll provide advance notice about renewal options.
-
10. Can we share materials with our partner schools or other sites?Materials can be shared internally across your institution's campuses or sites, but must be limited to the specific student cohorts agreed in your Participation Agreement. External sharing is not permitted without prior written consent, including: Partner schools or collaborative networks Other educational institutions Third-party educational platforms If you have a genuine need to share with external partners, contact us to discuss - we may be able to arrange additional licensing.
-
12. What if we find content that doesn't align with our institutional policies? You have final responsibility for all content delivered to your students and should review materials for appropriateness to your specific context and policies before delivery. While we design content to high educational standards, institutional policies vary. If you identify any concerns during your review, please contact us immediately - we can often provide guidance or alternative approaches for specific sessions.
-
15. Are we required to provide feedback?Feedback is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. Each session page includes a brief feedback form - just two quick questions taking less than a minute to complete. Your input helps us understand what's working and what might need adjusting. All feedback is collected anonymously for programme improvement only.
-
16. Can we use these materials for marketing our AI education offering? You may reference participation in the LaunchPad programme for internal marketing or promotional purposes. Any promotional reference must clearly identify the programme as the 'Your Tomorrow AI Literacy LaunchPad'.
-
13. Will students receive a certificate? We're developing a digital certificate for programme participation. Students will complete an extended engagement task in the final session to earn this certificate - details will be provided closer to launch. If you do not want your students to participate in the certification process, please let us know during onboarding so we can adjust the final session accordingly.
-
14. Will the content be updated during the year?Materials will only be updated during the academic year for major changes that render content materially incorrect, misleading, or legally non-compliant. Routine AI developments will be incorporated in annual content refreshes.
